These are actually quite good overall from what I've heard. This is more or less what they tend to look like: The main problem with them is that a LOT of them come with bad cords which result in signal problems (flickering, rolling noise, etc.), and the different version have their own scaling methods with some being blurrier then others.

Early ones output 720p and later ones could output 1080p. There's about a dozen or so variants of this, some of which go for as little as $30.

It takes the PSP signal directly and scales it before outputing the component signal. The only one I know of is the "PD-10c" aka "PD-20" (No idea what the difference is). It's very unlikely you'll find anything that gives better picture quality then them. XRGB-Mini and XRGB3 are the two models you want to be looking at. This is by far the best way to go, but also by far the most expensive (except maybe getting a whole new TV). The Bravia line of TVs can also scale the PSP signal well supposedly but I haven't really looked into it because of how expensive they are. The "Playstation 3D Display" has scaling mode specifically for the PSP, and can be had new for about $100, but be warned they are known to overheat and go bad quickly. That said, there are quite a few ways to stretch the image to fit the whole TV: Keep in mind any scaler for video is going to introduce about 1-2 frames of lag. Anyone else had better experiences or have recommendations to offer? Unfortunately, both of my HDTVs (42" LG LED and 32" Westinghouse LCD) lack the image stretching needed to make a good PSP TV.

However, breaking the bank to get a TV primarily for playing the PSP would be ridiculous, so it should also be economical, probably falling somewhere in the 32"-42" range. Vertical and horizontal stretch control is thus a necessity on an ideal companion TV for the PSP. The problem is that just using the component cables and switching the TV input over brings forth considerable aspect issues:ĩ34602_10200376227822099_1820466946_n.jpgĮven a generic zoom feature doesn't really do much about this:

Since this is still the ideal way to play RPGs, I figured a thread would be in order to help everyone best equip. DJI FPV Goggles can reach a maximum transmission distance (FCC) in a wide-open area with no electromagnetic interference, achieving minimum latency in Low Latency mode (720p/120fps).Okay, so there are a lot of great RPGs out on the PSP with Class of Heroes 2 set to join them soon, and the two most widely available PSP models have component out. The end-to-end latency is the total time from camera input to screen display. Custom-made myopia lenses are only compatible with DJI FPV Goggles and will be sold at the DJI Online Store.ġ0. Omnidirectional antennas are only compatible with other antennas that are left-hand circular polarized.ĩ. Users must remove the microSD card from their DJI FPV Air Unit and insert it in their DJI FPV Goggles to watch recorded videos.Ĩ.

4-in-1 integrated software for the DJI FPV RC reduces operational errors and allows users to change settings remotely.ħ. 7ms low latency between the DJI FPV RC and DJI FPV Air Unit can only be achieved under ideal conditions. The DJI FPV Air Unit can also record in 720p/120fps (without audio).ĥ. All channels operate under a 5.8 GHz frequency.Ĥ. Channel eight can be changed manually to avoid interference from other devices. The default channel is eight and only one pilot at a time is allowed to use this channel. There are up to eight channels for DJI FPV Goggles depending on the region (FCC: 8, CE/SRRC: 4, MIC: 3). Latency rate under 28 ms at 720p/120fps and under 40 ms at 720p/60fps.ģ.
